Self Love
Loving yourself means staying present in your body with your feelings, it’s the inner bonding of your authentic self, the real you. It means consciously moving into the intent to learn, about how you might be abandoning yourself that may be causing pain.
If you have old programing of lack of self worth, self care, or self love can be uncomfortable, it may seem as though bad, or negative, things keep happening to you when you are going through change. Your past may keeps pulling you back and it can have you kicking, screaming and even falling into a messy heap emotionally. Realise that is just the built-in survival mode that wants you to stay in the safe comfort zone, stuck in the predictable past . Keep moving forward and leave the past to the past.
Understand to love yourself means to accept yourself as you are and to come to terms with those aspects of yourself that you cannot physically change but change those emotions and thoughts that are harming you. It means to have self-respect, a positive self-image, and unconditional self-acceptance.
When you live without self love you can become absolutely lost with a desperate need for outside stimuli, from sex, drug, rock and roll, overeating, junk food, drama, anger, addiction and the list goes on.
Love yourself because while people and material possessions come in and out of your life, you will always remain. Love yourself because life becomes easier when you work with what you have. Love yourself because once you accept who you are, you can focus your energy on other matters and people in your life.
Self-love is important to living well and it influences everything you do in life; from your work, love, lifestle, diet, relationships you chose, health and even wealth.
Self-love is not simply a state of feeling good. It is a state of appreciation for yourself that grows from actions that support your physical, psychological and spiritual growth. Self-love is dynamic; it grows through actions that mature us.
People high in self-love nourish themselves daily through healthy activities, like sound nutrition, exercise, proper sleep, intimacy and healthy social interactions.
This week focus on what you want to create for yourself. Don’t worry what others think, just do something loving for yourself this week. Nourish your body and nourish your soul.
