Remote Work during Coronavirus and how to stay sane
Currently many companies around the world will or have rolled out mandatory remote work and entrepreneurs. So if you are faced with lockdown, social distancing, self-isolation or working remotely how should you approach this.
Here’s some tips what you need to do to stay productive.
Make your working environment the most pleasant. Find a sunny location near a window as the Vitamin D hormones which boost the immune system and also is wonderful for mental health too.
Play uplifting and happy music in the background as this will add harmony to the surroundings as well.
Add a pot plant nearby, this give you oxygen and excellent for purifying the air indoors.
Highly recommend everyone adds pot plants in their bedrooms too.

Have a system for communication, whether it is zoom (you can have a conference call to someone for 45mins free of charge), Slack is an app, Facebook Messenger also video and phone, and there are many other apps and software available. Even if you are not working from home setting up a communication system is a great idea. Humans are communal we love to be part of a community. It’s richer communication if we can talk to each other face-to-face even virtually.It’s been research to start your day, by getting up having your shower, do some exercise, meditate and get dressed.
Avoid working or staying in your PJs all day this actually affects your mindset negatively unless you’re exhausted and unwell. That’s how we tend to associate being in PJs all day, avoid that habit.
Avoid staying in bed working on your laptop. Again getting up and starting your day with a mindset of being productive, sitting up properly in a chair is better than sitting slumped over in bed for your lungs and breathing. A productive mindset is one that makes the best use of your resources – your time, your energy and your efforts. It is not trying to do everything and be everything, or even doing it in the quickest way possible. It is making the most and best of what you have while enjoying the process.
Not sitting upright working can make you drowsy and sleepy if you are buckled over in your posture.
Set healthy boundaries at home if you are working. This helps everyone at home understand that you are working and any personal jobs or tasks around the home will get done when you have finished.
Have exercise equipment available, a mini trampoline, a stationary bike, some weights, etc and move every hour. This will keep your mind alert, you will benefit from the exercise and feel the benefits all over the body. Exercise is great to boost the immune system too.
Book your day in your diary to ensure you achieve the high priority tasks each day. Book in your meditation, exercise and lunch time as the body’s biological clock love routine and will reward you with a healthy body that has more energy.
Avoid late nights, this can creep in when you do not have to get up earlier to catch public transport or travel to work. Late nights, meaning going to sleep after 11pm can have feeling very tired when you wake the next day.
Make a rule not to watch TV or other distractions during work hours.
Eat Clean have a delicious lunch every day with lots of veggies and fruit. Eat a rainbow of colours for your gut, mind and body. Avoid snacking, eating sugary foods and junk. Have delicious smoothies and juices.Stay hydrated throughout the day.
