Is Fear Holding You Back?
Fear and procrastination can stop you from change. Here is a way to get the past your fear, procrastination and make that change. This method works whatever your change is. Do you want to lose stubborn weight, feel better, have passion, travel, have better health, get a better career, better relationships or another desire to change.
To make a change we need to retrain our mind.
To retrain your subconscious mind is very similar to the gym – to change we work out our the mental muscles, repetitively and consistently.
Choose your main goal, habit or action you would like to do or change.
Have a dialog with yourself, ask yourself:what is preventing me from achieving that goal now? You must be honest and realise what is preventing you from achieving that goal so far. If the answer is hidden too deep you may need a coach or therapist to see work with as there maybe trauma.
The Reason That You Are Subconsciously Blocked Must Be Revealed. Otherwise, it will continue to hold you back from achieving. It could be food cravings, limited beliefs preventing you reaching certain goals, can’t lose weight, want a better job but afraid to move on, guilty about making money, cannot find your true love or just burnt out with your life.
Here is a great technique. First clear your mind through breathing. Inhale through your nose and take a deep breath for 3 seconds. Let the air go deeper than your lungs – feel it in your stomach (if you do it right, you can actually see and feel your stomach expands.) Fill your lower stomach with lots of oxygen.
Now, visualize, day dream that you have already reached your goal. See the new you in your mind. Do this every day until you reach your goal. The mind will believe your vision. You can create your own reality. How does your image makes you feel, what colours do you see, sounds you hear, people who are around you, where you’re at, what the view is around you, and how it feels to realize you accomplished your aspiration.
This technique is very effective regardless if your goal is big or small – it doesn’t matter, as long as you deeply desire it.
See your vision as a static photo and also run your vision as a moving image too.
Do it for 2-3 minutes. If you can last longer, feel free to do so to maximize your results and shift your subconscious mind settings faster.
Write down your goal as if you have already reached it.
Repeat for the next 30 days.
