CoronaVirus why building your immunity and detoxing is beneficial and protective
The rapid spread of the coronavirus and the illness it causes called COVID-19 has sparked alarm worldwide.
Coronavirus19 novel virus meaning a new virus which is caused by a member of the coronavirus family that has never been encountered before.
Like other common coronaviruses, it has come from animals. Many of those initially infected either worked or frequently shopped in the Huanan seafood wholesale market in the centre of the Chinese city.
The virus can cause pneumonia and many who have fallen ill report coughs, dry cough, fever and breathing difficulties. Symptoms range from a mild cough to pneumonia. Severe symptoms are rapid heart rate, low blood pressure, high or very low temperatures, confusion, trouble breathing and severe dehydration.
In severe cases there can be organ failure. As this is viral pneumonia, antibiotics, flu vaccine are of no use. Current incubation period if you have a cough, fever or feel ill if you have returned from overseas travel, estimates suggest that symptoms of COVID-19 usually appear around five days on average, and to isolate for 14 days.
A specialized test must be done to confirm that a person has COVID-19.
Those who have the virus may have no obvious symptoms (be asymptomatic) or symptoms ranging from mild to severe. In some cases, the virus can cause pneumonia and potentially be life-threatening.
According to the WHO, coronaviruses may survive on surfaces for just a few hours or several days, although many factors will influence this, including surface material and weather.
That’s why personal preventive steps like frequently washing hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, and wiping down often-touched surfaces with disinfectants or a household cleaning spray, are a good idea.
Most people who get sick will recover from COVID-19. Recovery time varies and, for people who are not severely ill, may be similar to the aftermath of a flulike illness.
Recovery of the coronavirus depends on the strength of your immune system and this is why people with compromised health. To date the the elderly have been affected the most with are highest mortality rate. Many of those who have died were already in poor health although this doesn’t rule out all ages can be affected.
China’s national health commission has confirmed the coronavirus is transmitted from human-to-human, not through mosquito bites and infected food may also cause the coronavirus although this is still unknown.
It is not really known how dangerous this new coronavirus19 is although avoid areas of outbreak and if you have compromised health avoid crowds, huge gatherings of people, flying and cruise ships.
It is also unknown is how contagious the coronavirus is as it is unlike the flu, there is no vaccine for the new coronavirus at the time of writing this article. This means people who more vulnerable such as the elderly people or those with existing respiratory, poor health, chronic stress, autoimmune and other immune problems should be very protective themselves.
Hand-washing with soap and water and avoiding other people if you feel unwell are important. Cleaning surfaces with bleach has been successfully used in killing this virus.
Here are some of the registered disinfectants on the EPA’s list. Find the full here.
Please note that there are a number of common coronaviruses and the new coronavirus19 is still being researched, these products may not guarantee 100% kill the covi19.

The Immune System
The immune system is the body’s natural defence system. It does not reside in one single part of the body—rather, it is made up of a network of cells, molecules, tissues, and organs working together to protect the body. The body’s powerful immune system can protect us against cancer, flus, illness, allergies, and is capable of eliminating tumours and viruses.
The innate immune system provides a general defence against common pathogens (any bacteria, virus, or other disease-causing microorganism), which is why it is also known as the nonspecific immune system.
The adaptive immune system targets specific threats and learns how to launch precise responses against viruses or bacteria with which the body has already come into contact. The various components of the immune system work together to provide both types of protection.
B cells release antibodies to defend against harmful, invading cells.
Macrophages are known as the “big eaters” of the immune system. Macrophages engulf and destroy bacteria and other harmful cells.
Dendritic cells digest foreign or cancerous cells and present their proteins on their surfaces, where other immune cells can better recognize and then destroy the harmful cells.
CD8+ killer T cells destroy thousands of virus-infected cells in the body every day.
CD4+ helper T cells send “help” signals to other immune cells (such as the CD8+ killer T cells) to better direct their response and make sure that they destroy harmful cells as quickly and efficiently as possible. These cells also communicate with the B cells producing antibodies.
Regulatory T cells provide checks and balances to make sure that the immune system does not overreact. When you have a chronic immune reaction, this is called autoimmune disorder or disease.
Antibodies are proteins that bind to specific markers known as antigens on harmful invaders, such as germs, viruses, or tumour cells.
Cytokines are messenger molecules that help immune cells work together to coordinate the correct immune response to any given invader, infection, or tumour.
The immunity of the body works together with the appendix, bone marrow, lymph nodes, the skin, the spleen, liver, and the thymus gland and the circulatory system which are all part of the immune system.
The liver is a member of the immune system having immune cells largely in an activated state and plays a role in the adaptive/specific immune response, metabolisms our fats, proteins and carbohydrates, detoxifies and purifies the body.
The liver is a metabolically active organ responsible for many vital life functions. It is a key, frontline immune tissue. Ideally positioned to detect pathogens entering the body via the gut, the liver appears designed to detect, capture, and clear bacteria, viruses, and macromolecules.
Containing the largest collection of cells in the body to maintain a barrier between us and the outside world. Insufficient immunity insufficient immunity allows for chronic infection, viruses, cancer and diseases in the body.
The main causes of illness are injury, nutrient deficiency and overload of toxins in the body. Injury or accidents are not something you always have control of although ensure your body is given nutrient rich foods, detoxing your body and living a healthy lifestyle is something most people are capable of achieving thus building and boosting your immunity.
